When you visit my website, take the Plateau Diagnostic or book a call with me, you give me some information about you and your business. This page says what I collect, what I do with it, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted.
I'm Suzanne Pool. My business is Suzanne Pool Services Ltd, company number 10428552, at 45 Miranda Rd, London N19 3RA. I decide what happens to your information, which makes me the "controller" under UK data protection law.
If you have a question about your information, email me at suzanne@suzannepool.com. I'll reply within one month, and usually much sooner.
When you visit suzannepool.com: my website doesn't ask you for anything, and it doesn't use advertising or analytics trackers. To show you the pages, my website host and the services listed below receive the technical details every website receives: your device's IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time.
When you take the Diagnostic:
Nothing leaves your device until you press "Show me my pattern". Until then, your browser keeps your progress so you can pick up where you left off, and it clears that copy when you submit.
When you sign up for my letter: your email address, and the date and page where you signed up.
When you book a call: your name, email, phone number if you give it, your answer to the booking question, and the time you chose.
When you email me: your email address and whatever you choose to tell me.
When I email you: whether my emails reach you, whether you open them, which links you click, and whether you unsubscribe. My email system records this automatically.
To deliver the pages, keep them secure and fix problems. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in running a website that works.
To show your pattern on screen and email you the write-up for it. You asked for these, and that's my legal basis: taking steps you requested.
After your result and your PDF, or when you sign up for my letter, you join my list and get my emails, including my fortnightly letter. The page tells you this before you submit, and you agree to it by submitting. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Your Diagnostic answers decide which of my emails you get. This happens automatically. You can always write to me direct.
If your answers suggest my work fits where you are, I may read them myself and write to you personally. My legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to people who've asked for help with exactly what I do. Tell me to stop and I will.
To book it, run it and follow up afterwards. Legal basis: taking steps you requested before we might work together.
To reply to you. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in answering people who write to me.
A dated note of when you took the Diagnostic or signed up, and what you agreed to, so I can show I had your permission. Legal basis: my legal obligations.
I never sell your information, and I never share it for anyone else's marketing.
I use a few services to run all this. They handle your information only on my instructions.
Inside my business, only my team and I see your details. No one else does.
Some of these services keep data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK's International Data Transfer Addendum.
My website links to YouTube and Amazon. When you follow those links you leave my site, and their own privacy policies apply.
I keep your details for as long as they're useful for the reasons on this page. You can ask me to delete them at any time, and I will.
You can ask me to:
Email suzanne@suzannepool.com and I'll deal with it within one month. It's free.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. I'd like the chance to sort it out first, though.
My website doesn't set cookies of its own, and I don't use advertising or analytics trackers on any of my pages. My page system, HighLevel, may set cookies to keep the pages working. The quiz saves your progress in your own browser, and clears it when you submit.
If I change how I use your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top. If it's a big change, I'll email you about it.
